Olive oil as a gift: sets, gift card, shipping
Olive oil works as a gift when the oil has a name, a mill and a date. Ours comes from Villa San Giovanni in Tuscia, where the Ottaviani family has made it since 1905: the bottle carries the cultivar, the village of harvest and the lot code. Whoever receives it knows what they are opening.
The sets
- Three 750 ml bottles, a blend of Caninese, Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo. €30.94, which is €13.75 per litre. The most gifted set: one bottle for the table, two in reserve.
- Three 500 ml bottles, same blend, €20.63. To share between three people or to keep.
- Settembre, single-cultivar Caninese from the first pick, from three 500 ml bottles (€39.50) to the 5-litre tin. For giving the year's new oil.
- Gift card from €25 to €150, if you would rather they choose format and filtration.
Unfiltered or filtered, as a gift
Every set comes unfiltered or filtered. For a gift we recommend filtered: it is more stable and does not need to be used within a few months, so it does not matter when it gets opened. Unfiltered is for someone who will use it raw straight away. What changes between the two.
Shipping and timing
We dispatch within 24 hours of payment. Delivery in Italy takes 1–2 working days, across the EU 4–8, with the exact cost calculated at checkout. We ship across Europe, to the UK (no duty or VAT to pay on delivery) and to the United States (import duty and the courier's clearance fee are charged on delivery); see our shipping policy for details. For the holidays, allow the full transit time on top of an order placed by mid-December. The new 2026 oil is back in stock from mid-October.
