The Lekythos vases evoke an ancient ceramic tradition dating back to 7th century BC Greece, which spread throughout the Mediterranean, particularly in Etruscan Italy. Made with local clay rich in iron oxides, the vases are shaped and decorated using techniques passed down through the centuries.

Lekitos Vase in Greek-Etruscan Style The Lekitos vases draw on an ancient ceramic tradition dating back to 7th century BC Greece, spreading throughout the Mediterranean, especially in Etruscan Italy. Crafted with local clay rich in iron oxides, the vases are shaped and decorated using time-honored techniques.
Handcrafted Decoration and Firing The decoration uses a red pigment derived from specially treated clay sediment. Inspired by Etruscan masters, the motifs are hand-painted and fixed during kiln firing. At around 900°C, oxygen reduction with olive wood branches creates the characteristic black-red contrast, enhancing the beauty of the figures.A unique piece that combines history and ancient craftsmanship.
